Characters
Akari Itsuya - The Detective
Role: Protagonist
A brilliant detective with exceptional deductive abilities and sharp observational skills. Akari can piece together complex scenarios from minimal clues—from determining accident details at a glance to analyzing evidence in his home lab. He combines intellect with unexpected physical prowess (catching punches mid-air) and has a calm, methodical approach to even the most bizarre cases. Despite being a smoker who acknowledges its harm, he uses it as part of his investigative ritual. Akari's defining trait is his relentless pursuit of truth, no matter how impossible it seems. When he remembers the glitches, he experiences intense headaches and bleeding, but his determination never wavers. He reads dark-themed books like Haruki Murakami's "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World."
Hikari - The Detective's Wife
Role: Supporting Character / Partner
Akari's wife, who serves as both his emotional support and investigative partner. Hikari is observant and caring, noticing details like the cigarettes on the floor that indicate Akari couldn't solve a case. She scolds him about smoking and his habit of mumbling while walking. Despite her playful complaints, she's deeply committed to helping Akari, even in the face of terrifying supernatural phenomena. She recently returned from visiting her parents. Hikari's presence grounds Akari and helps him piece together fragmented memories.
Kaito - The Disappeared Friend
Role: Supporting Character (Missing)
Akari's friend, who attended the party and was supposed to stay overnight due to the rain. Kaito is the catalyst for the entire mystery—his disappearance (or "glitching") from reality sets Akari on a path to uncover the truth. Even his own mother claims she never had a son, suggesting the glitches erase not just the person but all memories and records of their existence. His house is found in a mess, and his last call with his mother was 5 months ago.
Kenji Morita - The Witness Who Became a Victim
Role: Key Witness
A driver who first reported seeing someone "glitch out of existence" after hitting them with his car. By the next day, Kenji himself began forgetting the incident, experiencing headaches when trying to remember. At exactly midnight during police interrogation, Kenji glitched out of existence while saying "I remember heading ho—" He became a victim of the very phenomenon he witnessed. After his disappearance, everyone forgot he existed, proving the pattern: people glitch at midnight and are erased from all memories.
Kei Kagami
Role: ???
A girl who was found wandering around in the Other World at around 2 AM, claiming that she was just 'bored'.

Akari: "I am glad you had fun"

Akari scratching his head: "What was his family name again? Ehh I will ask him later."
Akari stands up and heads to the living room. The living room is in a mess from yesterday's party; plastic cups on the floor everywhere, the desk is missed up, some papers are on the floor.
A pen on the disk moves and falls on the ground. Akari notices the pen and puts it back on the desk.
Akari confused: "how did that pen move by itself?" Notices the window and closes it "just air" then goes to get the tools for cleaning the living room. The pen then moves and falls again.

Akari: "So, what did you see? How did you know you crashed or hit something?"
The driver: "I was just driving‒"
Akari interrupting him, talking in a fast tone: "you where driving at night while its raining and you are smoking in the dark and your headlight was broken from an accident so you couldn't turn it on, that sounds a boring case now..."
The driver (Kenji Morita): "H.How did you..?" Akari is already walking away, he shouts in a bit of hesitation "...Wait! The person I hit with my car...Just glitched and disappeared!"
Akari paused midway, his expressions gets more serious and sharp.
Akari facing him: "Can you..repeat what you said?"
The driver in hesitation: "The person I hit with my car...just glitched and disappeared"

Akari: "what's your name again?"
The driver: "My name is Kenji Morita."
Akari: "Morita‒san, can you show me your pack of cigarettes?"
Kenji: "w.what?"
Akari with a serious tone: "Just show it without hesitation!"
Kenji pulling out his pack, hesitantly: "s.sure"
Akari grabs it, and starts observing it: "hmm. I will take this with me. Its fine right?"
Kenji: "sure."
Akari walking away: "Okay. Now you will go to the police to interrogate you, and yeah..bye"
Kenji shouts in rage and frustration: "what? Thats all?! Do you think I was joking when I said that the man glitched?! I..I saw him with my eyes!"
Akari waving his hand while walking away: "No. Dont worry! I will continue investigating and will tell you the results!"
Kenji lunges forward, swinging a punch in frustration: "Are you making fun of me?!"
Akari catches his fist mid–air with one hand, his sharp gaze cutting through Kenji's rage: "Do you think I am not taking my job seriously? If I took the case, then I will work on it. Calm down. Better for you."
Kenji pulls back and the police take him away.
[ Scene 3: At home ]
Akari: "I dont need the cops lab, I got my own here in my apartment."
Akari starts searching for drugs in the cigarettes: "There should be a drug here somewhere! He didn't drink or eat anything before that! He was only smoking!"
He throws the pack away furiously after examining it under a microscope without finding anything useful.
Akari: "That doesn't make any sense! There has to be something!"
Akari takes a deep breath: "I shall calm down first. What about remembering what happened yesterday?"
Flashback:
<<<<<<<
Kaito: "Is it fine if I slept here tonight?"
Akari: "Yeah, sure why not?"
Kaito: "thanks. Its just rainy outside."
Akari: "I sleep before midnight because I usually have work"
Kaito: "sure"
<<<<<<<
Akari: "there is something wrong..." putting his hands on his head "...the more I try to remember the more my head hurts"

Akari: "its almost midnight.."
Kenji: "sorry, but I dont remember anything related to this incident. I remember what happened before it though."
Akari: "what happened? What can you remember exactly?"
Kenji: "I remember heading home"
Akari and Cop4 stunned

In the background: Cop4: "Yes. I think..was there?..Someone..?"
Kenji: "who are you? And what do you mean? And how the heck did you just..casually pass through that solid wall?!"

Kenji: "but why?"
In the background: Akari: "th.there was..what did just happen?"
Daichi: "at first, i didn't know why, but after watching someone invistegate into this, I realized that it all happened because its just simply no one remembered my full name. So when the universe reset it just removed me out since I am no more needed. Because..no one remembers me, then who will benefit from me?"
In the background: Cop4: "Sir, can you leave the room? You shouldn't be here."
Kenji goes silent for a moment trying to process the situation he is in.
Kenji: "when does the universe reset anyway? And why?"
Daichi: "the universe resets at exactly 12: 00 am where it picks the people who are forgotten and puts them in the "Lost Ones World" L.O.W. or some people call it "The Forgotten Leftovers" T.F.Ls. when you get dragged to that place everyone forgets everything about you and would never know you existed. Your mother, father, best friend, your loved ones and everyone."
Kenji: "but I noticed the cops forgot in minutes while Akari didn't forget till now"
Daichi: "it depends on multiple factors, like how close that person was to you, how much he or she wants to remember you, how long have he forgot your full name, and how strong is his memory... Though the difference stays small...Akari Itsuya..I think we need to follow him."
Kenji: "we will go to that detective's house?!"
Daichi: "yes. Will you come or stay here?"
Kenji: "n.no, coming!"
Kenji follows Daichi to exit the police station heading to Akari's house.

Kenji confused: "wh..whaaa—?"
Daichi waits at the other side: "come on lets go!"
Kenji passes the street and follows Daichi
Kenji: "can we just pass through all objects?"
Daichi: "not all. You can affect some objects actually."
Kenji: "really?"
Daichi: "you can only affect objects that are less than a 100g"
Daichi: "and in some cases "Liminal Overlap Windows" could happen. Where you may appear in the remembered world in less than a second then glitch out again"
Kenji: "oh i remember now the incident I had! I crashed into someone who suddenly appeared the moment I crashed him and disappeared instantly right after getting injured. Was that a..Liminal Overlap Window thing?"
Daichi: "oh yeah I think...we will arrive soon. This is his office" pointing at a house
After credits....
Kenji: "is his office is just his house?"
Daichi: "yeah"
Daichi: "so lets go"
Kenji: "wait..can we just enter his house that casually without his permission?"
Daichi: "how can you even ask his permission?"
Kenji: "fair point"
They pass through the door and see Kaito sitting on the couch watching T.V.
Daichi pulling out a knife: "who are you and what are you doing here?"
Episode 5: Can You Last in the Other World?
Released: November 5, 2025
What do you think will happen if someone from the Other World got stabbed by a knife? Will it affect them? Will they bleed? What do you think will happen if someone stayed for so long in the Other World?
[ Scene 1: At home ] ‒ Time: (Past) 12: 30 am
Daichi pulling out a knife: "who are you and what are you doing here?"
Kaito stands up while holding popcorn: "A visitor. Nice."
Daichi tries to stab him but Kaito dodges.
Kaito: "calm down. I am not here to—"
tries to stab him again but Kaito holds the knife with both hands, causing it to bleed but strangely healing fast: "Stop!" Kaito pulls the knife, breaks it and throws it away: "I am Akari's friend!"
Kenji confused: "wait..how did you heal that fast?"
Kaito: "In this world, knives aren't really what you should be scared of..."
Kenji: "what do you mean?"
Kaito with dark expressions: "what you should worry about...is how much you will last!"
[ Scene 2: The crime scene (from episode 1) ] - Time: (Present) - 9/6/2025 - 12: 30 pm
Hikari: "so here is where that incident you talked about happened."
Akari: "yes. There is not much blood here."
Hikari: "whoever was the victim who disappeared..he's still alive. The amount of blood on the ground isn't enough to die."
Akari: "I know. We should go to the police station and ask about the sample of blood they took, we can use it as a clue to find the victim."
Hikari: "lets go."
[ Scene 3: At the police station ] - Time: (Present) 12: 45 pm
cop1: "oh..after analyzing the samples of blood, we got strange results; we couldn't find someone who existed with such blood"
Akari walks away while Hikari follows him
Hikari: "What does that mean?"
Akari with low but sharp voice: "it sounds like what I expected is true. Whoever glitches out of this world, everything related to him just disappears"
Hikari smugs: "oh yeah, by the way, what happened to that friend you had?"
Akari: "what?"
Hikari confused: "that friend we left his house hours ago"
Akari remembers: "ohhh.." in shock "Oh no! I am starting to forget!" With a serious tone "we need to rush! At this rate, I won't be able to solve this case!"
then starts walking faster
Hikari: "where are we going?"
Akari pauses for a moment in silence
Hikari: "Akari-kun? Are you alright?"
Akari: "hey...did you..actually get to see your parents?"
Hikari hesitant: "wh.what do you mean, Akari-kun? I.I obviously did"
Akari: "stop hiding it. Your face was pale when I mentioned the visit"
Hikari: "I guess I can't hide it from a smart detective like you..." her face goes pale "...They disappeared from home. And when I asked the neighbors they said "there was no one living here""
Akari: "Then?"
Hikari: "I started investigating in this and...while I was watching the news..."

Akari: "I see...then why not visit your parents' place, I wanna check it out"
Hikari: "sure."
[ Scene 4: At home ] - Time: (Past) 9/6/2025 :- 12:40 am - 12 hours ago.
Kenji curiously: "What do you mean?"
Kaito: "In this world, the longer you stay the more you start vanishing from the "Remembered World", and if you totally vanish, you can never get back to be remembered again."
Kenji: "wait...so there is a way to get back to the "Remembered World", right?"
Kaito: "There is..I am Kaito Shiranami. And I am going to help you finding out how to get back to the "Remembered World""
[ Scene 5: Hikari's parents' house ] - Time: (Present) 2:00 pm
The house is clean and neat. Akari starts looking around for clues in the house, then he finds a computer but locked with a password.
Akari: "Hey, Hikari! Do you know the password?"
Hikari: "and how would I know?"
Akari: "That just makes it harder."
Akari finds some sticky notes on the back of the computer.
Akari: "hey, do your parents have some type of "Dementia"?"
Hikari: "Oh..I think my father forgets stuff faster than normal. I guess its because of age"
Akari: "did you ever hear this quote before? "Those who forget too quickly, get forgotten too quickly as well""
Hikari: "No, I didn't hear about it and I think the person who said it up didn't hear about it himself"
Akari: "Your father probably writes the password of the computer on a note"
Hikari: "and where can we find this note?"
Akari looking around the computer: "its probably somewhere visible since if he hid it he wouldn't remember where it is as well..."
Akari scans the desk, notices dust marks on the keyboard, lifts it, and finds the sticky note underneath..

[ Scene 1: Hikari's parents' house ] - Time: (Present) 2:40 pm
Akari sitting on the chair wondering.
Hikari: "hey. Hey Akari! From Earth to Akari" shouts in his ears "AKARI!!"
Akari falls with the chair pulling a picture of Hikari's family: "Aw, what?!"
The frame slips from Akari's hand. When it hits the floor, a hairline crack crawls across the glass — splitting Hikari's image from her parents.
Hikari: "hey! You broke that picture!"
Akari: "its your fault for shouting in my ears!"
Hikari: "you zoned out, did you solve this hint?"
Akari: "oh..its clear..type HikariILU"
Hikari: "what? Is it that simple? What does it mean anyway?"
Akari: "oh. In "Hello, kari" if you take the "H" and put it beside "kari" with an "i" it will be "Hikari". It makes sense since its your parents. Anyway if you tried writing the numbers "8965632" on the computer's keyboard, it will look like a "3". Many people used to use the sign "<3" to symbolize a heart before emojis existed. So the password means that he loves you. And if you take the first letters of the sentence "I Love You" it will be "ILU""
Akari gets to the computer and starts typing the password. The computer opens.
Akari while moving the mouse clicking on the "File Explorer": "so lets see what we have here..."
Akari finds a Word written on it " notes, date: 1/6/2025" he opens the Word while saying: "I think I found something useful!.." looking around him "Hikari?..wait..what was her second name?" he stays silent for a moment thinking, then he realizes something "wait..whoever disappeared..I got a theory..wait where is Hikari?" then he starts worrying, and panicking.
Akari shouts: "HIKARI!"
then he starts seeing everything around him in black and white vision, starts trembling, feeling that he is almost losing his mental stability, but interrupts him, suddenly he hears a sound of sobbing from a nearby room, his expressions fade, he rushes to the room to find Hikari covering herself in a white blanket: "oh Hikari-chan, you are here"
He goes sits on the bed beside her: "Hikari. Crying won't bring them back. If you want them back you need to solve this case. Crying will just waste our time. We have 9 hours before midnight, and we will probably start forgetting even before it."
Hikari shouts: "You don't understand how i feel since you don't have parents!..oh" then she goes silent for a moment realizing what she said.
Akari's face goes pale. He stands up: 'I.I will be in the living room reading your father's notes."
Hikari: "S.sorry..I.I didn't mean to mention that topic..."
Akari: "I.Its fine. You are technically right anyway."
then he leaves the room with a pale face.
Hikari regretting what she did: "what the hell did I do?! He came to calm me down I just shouted at him mentioning the most sensitive topic for him?!"
[ Scene 2: In the living room ] - Time: (Present) 3:00 pm
Akari sitting in front of the computer with serious expressions.
Akari: "What the heck?!"
The Word is empty pages.
Hikari appears behind him, standing while keeping her distance: "He wrote it with white font color"
Akari selects everything in the word then text appears with the blue background. He changes the color to black.
"1/6/2025
I noticed something weird going on where my pen moved alone without any logical cause, maybe I was hallucinating?
2/6/2025
No I wasn't! Before I sleep yesterday I was sure I closed the T.V. I woke up and found it on! Also my small note was placed somewhere else.
3/6/2025
I believe there is some Other World, I am going to call it "The Forgotten Leftovers" where forgotten stuff go there by the universe. The universe cleans up. My prove is that I went to meet my friend but he glitched out in front of me.
4/6/2025
I believe that the universe removes our memories about those people who glitch out and it all happens at midnight since I don't remember having a friend.
I made a small experiment on a zebrafish by separating it from its pears and after about 10 hours it glitched out of existence, that means anyone who gets forgotten the universe sends him to the Other World.
5/6/2025
I think if it was like that my friend wouldn't have glitched out of reality though, so I have a theory since I couldn't remember my friend's second name before he glitch that its about the second name not your first name."
Akari whispering to himself: "That's my exact theory."
Akari stands up.
Hikari: "What are you planning to do?"
Akari: "I believe that there is a way to get them back but we need to visit the library first for some books"
Akari leaves heading to a nearby library while Hikari follows him still keeping her distance.
[ Scene 3: At home ] - Time: 1:00 am (Past)
Kenji drinking coffee with Kaito, while Daichi left.
Kenji: "so..how can you go back to the "Remembered World" ?"
Kaito: "what?"
Kenji: "You said there is a way right?"
Kaito: "yes I did but..." walking toward Akari's bedroom, staring at Akari sleeping "...won't it be fun watching the detective solve the case?"
Kenji: "what? Why don't you just tell us the way to go back?"
Kaito: "chill. If the way was that easy I wouldn't have been still here you know?"
Kenji: "What are we going to do then?"
Kaito: "just watch the detective solve the case."
after credits...

Episode 7: Summoning from the Forgotten Leftovers
Released: November 19, 2025
What would you choose if you had to choose between losing someone you love's parents? Or the person you love?...or sacrificing yourself for both to stay?
[ Scene 1: In a library ] - Time: (Present) 6:00 pm
Akari and Hikari are both looking in a library for some books that may help, or have any clue.
Hikari in the "religion" section, pulling out a book written on it, "Quran": "Hey, look what I found!"
Akari replies without even facing her, looking in a section titled "Other World" while standing on wooden stairs: "What?"
Hikari: "I felt like this book was glowing!"
Akari is still searching in the section, deadpan, still without facing her: "Books don't glow, Hikari. And stop playing around and help me find what we are searching for."
Hikari: "But really, this book looks different compared to the other religious books."
Akari then faces her, confused: "Religious?" Then he reads the title of the section where she is searching, "Why are you searching in this section?" Then he glances at the book she is holding and starts remembering:
Flashback:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Akari notices that there is still something small in his plastic bag.
Akari: "Is there still something in this bag?"
Kaito: "oh almost forgot..." pulling out a small book giving it to him written on it Quran and got some cool design "..have this."
Akari holding the book: "what's this?"
Kaito: "this isn't any book so be careful with it and don't put anything on it, okay?"
Akari: "sure but what is it?"
Kaito: "hehe just read it later. You will like it I promise"
Akari puts it on a desk a little confused but considers reading it: "sure. I will consider reading it."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
he gets a strong headache and hits the shelf with his head and falls with a book falling on him titled: "The Forgotten Leftovers - by: Cien Ayanami".
Hikari rushes to him with concern: "are you alright? What happened? Did you remember anything?"
Akari his hand on his forehead while bleeding from his forehead and his lips: "I am okay.. but what was this book that was in your hand?"
Hikari: "its a book I found in the "religion" section"
Akari still his hand on his forehead: "heh. Never knew that my friend was religious.."
then looks at the book that fell on him.
Akari: "looks like we found the book we where searching for"
[ Scene 2: At home ] - Time: 2:00 am (Past)
Kenji and Kaito sitting on the couch watching T.V.
Kenji: "hey, Shiranami-senpai.. I heard that here we can only affect anything that is under 100 grams was that true?"
Kaito: "Yes."
Kenji: "Then how did Daichi-san hold a knife?"
Kaito goes silent for a moment, then says: "Well, everything got a version of it in this world. Where you can hold it but it won't appear in the Remembered World that you are holding it. For example if you wanted to eat something that weights more than 100g you will hold it and eat it but it won't affect the one in the Remembered World"
Kenji: "oh..."
They continue watching the T.V. silently for a moment then Kenji breaks the silence asking again.
Kenji: "But can't I just hold a pen and write to someone in the Remembered World and communicate? To tell him my name and the existence of all this and stuff"
Kaito: "I don't think that will work"
Kenji: "why?"
Kaito: "you think you can just easily outsmart the universe? I tried it anyway and the pen just became part of this world and didn't affect the other world"
Kenji continues watching silently while thinking of other ways.
[ Scene 3: In a library ] - Time: (Present) 6: 10 pm
Akari and Hikari sitting on a table across each other in the library.
Akari opening the book: "so lets see if this book was useful"
Hikari: "imagine it ends up being a fictional story or something" she says while laughing nervously
Akari: "hopefully not"
The book:
" Title: The Forgotten Leftovers
Writer: Cien Ayanami
Date written: 3/5/2000
As a young scientist interested in parallel worlds, I discovered a parallel world that is different than any other world. And I believe that this one is real with proof! Many scientists for years weren't believing me and mocking my idea so I decided writing this book. I call this other world "The Forgotten Leftovers". This name came from that this world is actually where the forgotten people are kept. The word "Leftovers" came from this universe collecting forgotten people like "leftovers" by other humans. This is very dangerous. If you are reading this book and got a dear friend or a parent you don't want to lose then don't forget his second name. According to my experience, at night, exactly when the clock strikes 12: 00 am the people whose second names are forgotten get deleted by the universe. This started happening very recent around 1986 but not fully sure. Its not so often to happen now and its actually really rare for such a case to happen like only very isolated people get enter this world and after months of isolation. But I believe this will start increasing very soon expecting this to happen in about after 25 years according to the rate of...."
Akari skipping through some pages..
Hikari: "what are you doing?"
Akari: "we don't have time for that we got about only 6 hours"
Hikari: "oh okay"
Akari stops at the chapter named "How to call someone from the Forgotten Leftovers"
"As of my experience of calling someone from the other world, it is really risky since it risks your life! So if you are planning to do it please consider this and be careful.
First step: You need to get a picture of your the person you want to call, if you got a picture you will be able to remember his second name for seconds.
Second step: Write this name on a paper before you forget it.
Third step: Read the name loudly.
I guarantee you that he will appear but it is so risky that either you will risk going to the Forgotten Leftovers replacing him or even dying! And this is the only way to do it"
Hikari: "Wow. I will go now get my parents since I found out how"
Akari stops Hikari while she was walking away holding her from her arm.
Akari says in frustration: "NO! NO WAY I CAN ALLOW THIS!"
Hikari: "What do you want me to do?! Leave my parents?"
Akari: "No. I didn't say that!"
Hikari: "Then? What do you want me to do?"
Akari: "lets search maybe we find another way..."
Hikari interrupting him: "there is no other way. This scientist said it. And you probably won't find any other book about this topic. You forgot? We asked the librarian he said "there is no such book" and this book was full of dust. Moreover, many people would find this crazy so no one would even research in that. And anyway even if there is another book it will be really hard to find and as you said we got only 6 hours and we have no time to waste"
Akari: "then I am going to do this"
Hikari says in rage: "No way! I won't allow this! They are my parents! I am the responsible one! You don't understand the feeling of losing my parents!"
Akari: "No! The problem is I understand and you don't. And because I understand how harsh the feeling is I won't allow you to go through it..."
Hikari pauses for a moment then pulling her arm: "Thanks.. but sorry, Akari. This is my job. And these are my parents to rescue. Please stay out of it."
Then she leaves the library leaving him alone.
After credits...
[ Scene 4: In a library ] - Time: (Present) 10: 00 pm
Akari continued reading in the book after Hikari left then he leaves the library with the book opened on the page:
"There is also a way to make yourself forgotten and go to the world if you want which is..."
the rest of the page is ripped off.

Released: January 10, 2026
What would you do if you saw your wife glitching out of reality right before your eyes? This is Episode 8: The Failure of Saving a Parent...? of my original anime project.
[ Scene 1: in the street ] - 10:15 PM
Akari rushed back to his apartment in a hurry.
His thoughts racing: I can't let her! I can't! She shouldn't experience what I went through! She should never experience it!
Flashback:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
From the back seat, a child watched. The car was a warm, rumbling box in the big dark. A young woman and a young man sat in the front, their faces lit by soft dashboard lights. Then—WHAM!—a bright flash ate the world, followed by a sound of twisting metal and breaking glass louder than any storybook monster. When the ringing stopped, a new sound took over in the sudden quiet: a slow, scary drip... drip... drip onto the road below.

[ Scene 2: Akari's apartment ] - 10:20 PM
He threw open the door with such force that it creaked loudly on its hinges.
Akari shouts: "Hikari!"
Hikari already standing in the middle of the living room
she says loudly: "Akira Soma!"
Suddenly, the sound of a ticking clock filled the room, loud and unnaturally clear. CRACK! — like the sound of ice breaking over a lake. The framed photo of them on the desk shattered. Then Hikari started glitching.
Akari shouts in panic rushing to her: "Hikari!"
he passes through her while she is getting transparent.
Hikari frustrated, her grip tightens on the papers she was holding from the book, and shouts louder: "Akira Soma! Akira.. Soma..."
Tears start falling from her cheeks: "Father... father..." she murmurs
She raises her hand to hold Akari's but then it passes through his and she disappears, leaving him in a quiet room alone.
Akari stands silent for a moment, his eyes wide with shock: "Hi-kari.."
For a complete minute Akari stood still. In his place not flinching.
Akari shook his head, a bitter, disbelieving chuckle rattling in his chest.: "She is probably somewhere.. It's some magic trick. It needs to be one. She is probably somewhere right now.."
he walks around the apartment looking for her wishing to find her. Hoping that what he saw was just a magic trick that was too convincing. He finally gets to open the door of the last room - The dark bathroom. He opens the lights. POP! The bulb blows. He heads back to the living room.
He holds up the papers, he ripped from the book earlier then stares at them for a moment.
Akari murmurs, his grip tightening on the papers "I need to get her back. I am not giving up..."
[ Scene 3: At Akari's apartment ] - 11:59 PM
Akari sitting on the living room's floor, eyes closed.
Akari: "I am Akari Itsuya. An orphan with no parents. I am teleporting to The Other World. The Forgotten Leftovers."
he says but nothing happens.
Akari panics: "what?! I followed the-"
Then his eyes go wide, Flashback:

A person who looks like an inspector, asks the cop: "Did you find the corpse?"
The cop responds: "No. We couldn't find anything, not even blood."
The inspector: "Then case closed. We will announce that it was an accident and the corpse was lost...."

Akari's gets another strong headache, his hand flies to his forehead, his nails digging in his forehead that it starts bleeding. He says in a fast tone: "I am Akari Itsuya. With forgotten parents. I am teleporting to The Other World. The Forgotten Leftovers."
The clock ticks perfectly on 12:00 AM.

CRACK!
then his eyes go wide when he sees someone standing in the now-open doorway, looking confused and disoriented, is a middle-aged man in a rumpled coat. Akari's triumphant laugh dies in his throat.
